2024.07.09 The Liaison Office in Qianhai Shenzhen

On July 9, 2024, the Liaison Office of The Taxation Association of Macau was officially inaugurated at the Qianhai International Taxation Building in Shenzhen. This makes it the third key industry organization to move into the Qianhai International Taxation Building, following the Shenzhen Association of Certified Tax Agents and The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong. President Kathy Wong stated that the purpose of The Taxation Association of Macau's move to the Qianhai International Taxation Building is to strengthen the exchange and cooperation of tax professionals in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area, promote the development of tax-related businesses in the region, and support tax service institutions in Qianhai in cross-border tax talent cultivation and international business expansion. The establishment of the Liaison Office marks another significant step forward for The Taxation Association of Macau in promoting regional cooperation.
