2024.04.25 SZ, HK & Macau signed a memorandum
On April 25, 2024, the Shenzhen Municipal Tax Service, together with the China Association of Certified Tax Agents, The Taxation Association of Macau and The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong, held an activity titled "Tax and Contend: Tax Professionals with You - Professional Tax Services in the Greater Bay Area Seminar" at the Qianhai International Tax Professionals Building.
The event began with speeches by Vice President Xie Bin of the China Association of Certified Tax Agents and Director Guo Xiaolin of the Shenzhen Municipal Tax Service Bureau. During the event, the Shenzhen Association of Certified Tax Agents, The Taxation Institute of Hong Kong and The Taxation Association of Macau, signed a memorandum of cooperation on tax services to establish a regularized professional service collaboration mechanism across the three regions, contributing to the high-quality economic and social development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area. President Kathy Wong of the Taxation Association of Macau highlighted the mutual exchange of expertise and practices through discussions, seminars, and case studies, as well as organizing visits and policy presentations among the three regions.
The session on cross-border tax hot spots featured experts discussing tax system comparisons and cross-border taxation, with Vice President Wang Qingyang from Macau as a guest speaker.
